Italy: survey on recyclable materials 2010-2017

The statistic shows the results of a survey concerning the awareness of recyclable materials in Italy in selected years between 2010 and 2017. According to data, 44 percent of Italians in 2010 knew that steel was a recyclable material. By 2017, this share had increased to over 50 percent. In contrast, the share of Italians who believed that wood was a recyclable material decreased over the period, passing from 57 percent in 2010 to approximately 54 percent in 2017.
