Quarterly unemployment rate in Egypt 2021, by educational status
The unemployment rate in Egypt stood at 7.5 percent as of the third quarter of 2021. In the observed period, the rate was highest among individuals who obtained a university degree or higher. In the second quarter of 2021, the rate reached 15 percent. On the other hand, the rate of unemployment was significantly lower among people who were not able to read and write.
