China Eastern Airlines: revenue passenger kilometers 2019-2021, by route type
In 2021, China Eastern Airlines Group generated 106.6 billion in revenue passenger kilometers from domestic flights which represents an increase of roughly ten percent from 2020. Domestic flights accounted for 98 percent of the total RPKs in 2021 and international flights declined by 83 percent from 2020. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Airlines experienced a decline of nearly one-third from the RPKs of 2019 and international flights experienced a RPK decline of over 85 percent.
