Volume of vishing attacks on global organizations 2020-2021

According to surveys of IT professionals conducted in 2020 and 2021, almost seven in 10 respondents reported having encountered vishing attacks during the last examined year. This represented an increase from the 54 percent of respondents that reported experiencing vishing in 2020. Vishing attacks are defined as cybersecurity attacks that use phone calls or voice messages for phishing.
