In 2021, 35 percent of respondents surveyed in the United Kingdom stated that they had used a virtual consultation with a medical provider in the last year, a significant increase from six percent in 2020. While the share of users who used had electronic health records to manage their health rose from four percent in 2020 to 14 percent in 2021.
