Number of students in Morocco in 2021, by level of education
In the 2020/2021 academic year, around 4.6 million pupils attended primary education in Morocco. Elementary schools accounted for the highest number of enrollees in the country. School attendance decreased among higher educational levels. For instance, roughly 1.8 million students attended lower-secondary school, while tertiary education - including universities - counted almost 1.1 million students.
