Japan: monthly education expenses per student by child's age 2021

According to a survey conducted in Japan from July to September 2021, parents of children aged 13 to 15 years spent around 18 thousand yen on education per child in a month on average. Monthly education expenses for a child, excluding school fees, were lowest among parents with children aged six to nine years old.
