A survey carried out in early 2022 revealed that 46 percent of consumers worldwide are likely to stop flying or replace some flights with train or bus journeys to limit their contribution to climate change. In China, around 68 percent of respondents stated that they would likely replace flights with a more sustainable option, making it the country with the highest willingness to change on this matter. On the other hand, the US ranked last among the countries surveyed, with only a third of respondents saying they would do so.
