As of May 2022, nearly two out of three Canadians were expected to work exclusively on-site in the next three months. This proportion was higher in the provinces of New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia. Conversely, nearly one in ten people working in Ontario planned to work exclusively remotely, and 7.2 percent planned to work mostly remotely. In the same province, more than nine percent of workers planned to work the same number of hours in person and remotely.

As a result, those three months could range from April 1 to August 6, 2022, depending on when the business responded."
