Approximately 63 percent of companies in Russia in 2022 closed due to the presence of false information, such as signs of fictitious activity, a large number of organizations registered at the same address, or a failure to notify the tax authorities with correct information within a specified timeframe. A fifth of companies was removed from the register as inactive legal entities.
