Foreign debt of Russia 2013-2021, by sector
As of December 31, 2021, Russia's business sector accounted for the largest portion of the country's external debt, measuring at 302 billion U.S. dollars. The government's foreign debt reached 65 billion U.S. dollars. The debt of the Central Bank and the national banking sector increased by 30 billion U.S. dollars compared to the previous year.
