In the academic year of 2020/2021, the Mexican states with the highest drop-out school rate for graduates were Sinaloa and Quintana Roo with 18 percent each. Following with the second highest position was the state of Baja California Sur with 15.6 percent. In contrast, the state with the smallest drop-out rate was Nuevo León with 0.8 percent.
