Share of renewables in power generation capacity in Morocco 2021, by source
As of 2021, renewables accounted for 37 percent of the total power generation capacity in Morocco. Hydropower was the leading renewable source, making up around 17 percent of the country's energy production capacity. Wind and solar energy followed with shares of approximately 13 percent and seven percent, respectively.
