Germany: Electromobility use 2022

Electromobility has been growing in popularity in Germany and while just over ten percent of Germans have used an electric car, the most widely used electric vehicle was an e-bike. More than a fifth of German are using or have previously used an e-bike. The sale of e-bikes in Germany has been rising substantially over the past few years and reached a sales volume of two million in 2021.
