According to a survey by Rakuten Insight conducted in December 2022, majority of respondents across all ages in India stated that they spent less than 250 Indian rupees on average for a breakfast meal. Furthermore, 16 percent of the respondents of 55 years and above usually spent over one thousand Indian rupees for a morning meal.
