Spain: share of electric passenger vehicle by ownership and autonomous community 2022
Over half of the electric vehicles sold in Spain were registered as company cars, compared to just over 38 percent of electric cars registered as private cars. Madrid was the autonomous community with the largest share of electric vehicle registrations as company cars, at some 67.9 percent. In contrast, 66.4 and 63.2 percent of the electric vehicle sales in the Navarre region and Balearic islands were registered as private cars.
