Factors considered important when deciding where to shop online New Zealand 2023
In a survey conducted in February 2023 among consumers in New Zealand, around 53 percent of respondents decided to shop from a particular online store due to discounted products or special offers. The location of the online store was also important to shoppers, due to faster delivery, to support the local economy, as well as to provide the consumer with confidence that the store is not a scam. Ease of product return was also highly valued among shoppers, with many appreciating being able to return items they disliked, especially in tandem with increasing living costs.
