Number of climbers to have scaled K2's summit globally 1993-2022
Between 1993 and July 2022, the year with the most amount of mountaineers estimated to have climbed K2 was 2022. Although the climbing season in 2022 had not yet ended at the time the source published its data, the climbing rates for that year dwarfed the rates of any other year listed. In contrast, the years with the fewest climbers to have reached K2's summit were 1995 and 1997, each with 11 climbers.
