Concern among U.S. adults about scamming 2023, by age

A March 2023 survey among adults in the United States found that seven in ten respondents aged 65 and older said that scam texts, e-mails, or calls are a very serious problem in the country. Overall, younger individuals between 18 and 29 were less concerned about encountering fraudulence, as 39 percent of them said it was a very serious problem.
