Transport volume in CIS

Throughout the given period, Russia exhibited the highest level of transport volume in comparison to other countries within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS.) In 2021, the country handled more than four billion metric tons of cargo. This was eight percent less than the 2012 level when Russia's freight volume peaked at just below 4.4 billion metric tons.
