Average income in Mexico 2022, by number of children
In 2022, there was a gender pay gap in Mexico when considering the average income per family. The male population had a higher average income compared to the female population, regardless of the number of children in the household. For men with two children, the highest average income recorded was 38,168 Mexican pesos, while for women with the same number of children, the average income was nearly half that amount, at 20,711 Mexican pesos.
