Kazakhstan: area burnt by forest fires 2023

In the first six months of 2023, forest fires in Kazakhstan burnt an area of over 84 thousand hectares. Over the period observed, the highest figure was registered in 2021, when Kazakhstan lost to wildfire more than 167 thousand hectares of forest area.
