A survey conducted in 2023 revealed that the leading personal care treatment or procedure engaged in among Australian consumers was hair appointments, with around 34 percent of respondents indicating they had had a hair appointment in the 12 months to August 2023. Nail appointments were also popular among those surveyed, with around one-fifth saying they had had their nails done in the last year. Botox, filler, and plastic surgery were the least commonly engaged in personal care treatment or procedure among respondents.
