U.S. adults familiarity with dark web 2023
An October 2022 survey of adults in the United States found that close to 50 percent of respondents were somewhat familiar with the dark web. A further 21 percent said they were very familiar with the part of the web that provides private and anonymous internet usage. Meanwhile, eight percent of the surveyed adults said they had never heard of it.
