Health and hygiene in Latin America 2021, based on the TTDI
In 2021, Uruguay was the Latin American country with the highest score on the health and hygiene component of the Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI), obtaining 5.8 points out of a maximum of seven possible points. It was followed closely by Argentina, which received 5.7 points on the health and hygiene component that year. This indicator measures the healthcare infrastructure, accessibility, and health security of a country.
