Cannabis use legalization raising secondary crime rates in South Korea 2022
According to a survey conducted in South Korea in late 2022, around 91 percent of respondents stated that they were very concerned that legalizing the consumption of cannabis would lead to an increase in secondary crime. Secondary crime refers to crimes committed after and because of another primary crime that was committed first, such as causing a car accident while intoxicated. Only 12 percent were in favor of legalizing recreational marijuana.
