As of 2023, 45 percent of older women in the United States said menopause had extremely impacted their sleep, while a further one in three reported their mental health or mood had been extremely impacted by menopause. Moreover, one in ten women even said menopause was 'very impactful' on their career progression. This statistic shows the levels of impact of menopause on different aspects of lives of older women in the U.S. as of 2023.
