Great Britain: appropriate age for children to have social media accounts 2023
According to a survey of consumers in Great Britain conducted in September 2023, 30 percent of respondents thought that 16 years would be an appropriate age for children to have a social media account. Only 14 percent of respondents reported thinking that social media were only appropriate for users aged 18 and older. In comparison, 14 percent deemed reported that 13 years-old users could have an personal social media account.
