Optimism vs pessimism regarding AI development in the U.S. in 2023

Americans were by and large neither optimistic or pessimistic regarding AI development in 2023. Those who showed pessimism were the larger grouping all told, however, with 37 percent being pessimistic, versus only 26 percent being optimistic.
