Pop culture impact on cultural diversity awareness South Korea 2023
According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023, around 64 percent of respondents stated that they felt pop music and music videos had a positive impact on promoting awareness of cultural diversity. Similarly, about 57.5 percent felt that foreign members of K-pop idol groups had the same impact. Foreign idols tend to come from other East or Southeast Asian countries or Asian diaspora communities.
