Global oil and gas companies' climate targets 2023
European oil and gas companies tend to have more extensive climate targets than North American or Asian competitors. For example, Shell is aiming to reduce its net carbon intensity by around nine to 13 percent until the end of 2025. Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco is looking to reduce their net emissions by 52 megatonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent through 2035.
