According to a 2021 survey of oil and gas executives, capital spending by oil and gas companies is expected to increase in 2022. 43 percent of respondents from E&P companies said their firm would slightly increase it's capital investment volume, and an additional 35 percent of respondents said their firm would significantly increase it's capital investment volume. A similar trend was seen with respondents from the oil and gas services sector.
