EU-27: volume of semi-finished and finished steel imports 2010-2022
In 2022, the European Union imported nearly 142 million metric tons of semi-finished and finished steel products. This was a decrease of 8 percent compared to the previous year's figure. Over the period given, the import levels of such products fluctuated considerably but overall increased.
