Likelihood of nurses leaving their profession after COVID-19 in Canada in 2021
In July 2021, during the third COVID-19 wave in Canada, roughly three in ten nurses mentioned that they were somewhat likely to leave their profession after the pandemic. While a further 15.5 percent of nurses indicated that they were moderately likely, or very likely, to leave the nursing profession after the COVID-19 pandemic.
