Number of hip replacements on seniors over 65 years in South Korea 2011-2021
In 2021, around 3.9 hip replacements were performed in South Korea per 1,000 inhabitants on those aged 65 years and older. This included total and partial replacements as well as revisions of prior replacement surgeries. In 2022, about 18 percent of the population of South Korea was considered elderly.
