Weekly hours spent on unpaid caregiving among U.S. workers in 2023
In the United States, among surveyed workers who were unpaid caregivers, a considerable amount of time was dedicated to caregiving responsibilities outside their work commitments. On average, they spent 21 hours per week assisting their care recipients. Additionally, almost one in ten caregivers reported spending over 41 hours per week on caregiving duties.
