Tires - value of U.S. auto tire imports by country 2018

U.S. tire imports from China were valued at 2.37 billion U.S. dollars in 2018. China remained the largest source of tire imports, but passenger car tire imports declined sharply after tariffs were levied on such imports. Thailand is the leading trade partner in this category: U.S. imports of passenger car tires from Thailand rose by 12.6 percent year-on-year to reach 33.9 million units. The average declared value per passenger car tire amounted to some 51.37 U.S. dollars.
