This statistic illustrates the total annual number of housing completions in the previous twelve months by all tenures in England from the second quarter of 2014 to the fourth quarter of 2019. It can be seen that the number of housing completions (in the previous twelve months) increased overall during the period under observation, reaching a total of almost 178.8 thousand as of the first quarter of 2019. The smallest number of housing completions was found in the second quarter of 2014, when a total of over 114 thousand housing completions in the last twelve months were recorded.
