This statistic displays the findings of a survey on the expectations towards search engines in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2015, broken down by newer and more established internet users. In 2015, 21 percent of respondents who first used the internet under 5 years ago reported having the opinion that, "if a website has been listed by the search engine, these websites will have accurate and unbiased information." Established users were somewhat less sure of the possible bias of search engine results. Of the responding established users 3 percent less expected unbiased information on website results while six percent more expected at least some biased information on some of the websites provided as search results.
