The monthly inflation rate for HICP (all items) compared to the same period in the previous year in France from September 2018 to January 2023 had periods of increase and decrease. In December 2018, the inflation rate was 1.9 percent in comparison to the same month of the previous year, and had increased to seven percent in January 2023.
