This statistic displays the proportion of male respondents who drank more than eight units in one day in the last week and the proportion of female respondents who consumed more than six units in one day in the last week, in England in 2021. In this period, 15 percent of men aged between 16 and 24 years old who drank alcohol in the last week consumed more than eight units in one day. In the same period, nine percent of women aged 16 to 24 years consumed more than six units of alcohol in one day in the last week.
