Approximately 42 percent of respondents in 2013 did not expect a rise, an increase from 38 percent in 2013. However, a bigger share expected a substantial salary increase in 2014 than in 2013: nearly eight percent of respondents expected an increase of 10 to 20 percent (in 2014), compared to five percent of respondents expecting a similar increase in 2013.
