Homeowners preference for tradesmen in the UK 2015, by quality

The statistic displays the qualities of a good tradesman, according to adult homeowners in the United Kingdom (UK) as of April 2015. The great majority (85 percent) of homeowners reported that a good handyman would listen to their needs and wishes. The second most important quality turned out to be punctuality, with 84 percent of respondents claiming that a good tradesman should arrive at the agreed time. Homeowners were also far more likely to favorably consider older, more experienced handymen (at 39 percent) than a younger, more recently trained handyman (at 4 percent).
