Dutch health insurance market: value of health claims paid out 2007-2017 The statistic shows the total value of health insurance benefit claims paid on the insurance market in the Netherlands from 2007 to 2017. Despite a drop in 2012, generally the value of claims payments increased year-on-year throughout the period. In 2017, the amount of health benefit claims paid out by the health insurers in the Netherlands reached over 43.5 billion euros.
