This survey shows the percentage of Canadians over the age of 65 years that went to the emergency department (ED) for a condition that could have been treated by their regular doctor in 2017, by province. Some 24 percent of older citizens living in Saskatchewan went to the ED for a condition instead of their regular doctor.
