This statistic shows the amount of mercury emissions attributable to the energy and water supply as well as waste management industries* in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1990 to 2016, in metric tons emitted. Mercury emissions have decreased over the period, falling from 16.5 metric tons in 1990 to 1.3 metric tons of mercury emitted in 2016. Emissions dropped notably over the first ten years.
