* Since 2014, federal elections in Belgium are held every 5 years. The 150 representatives (88 Dutch-speaking, 62 French-speaking) of the Chamber of Representatives are directly elected by universal suffrage. The number of seats to be selected is divided among the electoral districts according to the population figure. For the case of the Chamber or Representatives there are 11 electorial districts.
