The Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.x increased its number of vulnerabilities by 248 in 2014. A total of 119 new vulnerabilities were counted for Oracle Java 1.7.x / 7.x. In contrast, the Microsoft .NET Framework versions only had 8 new vulnerabilities each.
