Stand-alone outdoor waterpark: an aquatic facility without attached hotel having three or more slides.
Indoor waterpark resort: a hotel with a minimum of 10,000 square feet of indoor waterpark space feet of indoor waterpark space.
Stand-alone indoor waterparks: defined as having a minimum of 10,000 square feet of aquatic area and featuring multiple water features.
Resorts with outdoor waterpark: a resort hotel having an outdoor waterpark with at least three different features (e.g. slide, lazy river, wave pool, etc.). This count excludes those that also have indoor waterparks.
