In 2020, the Monroe, Louisiana metropolitan area had the highest rate of aggravated assault in the United States, with 1,123.2 aggravated assault cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The Memphis metro area had the second most, with 1,109.7 cases of aggravated assault per 100,000 inhabitants.
